PELSLTER, Rudolph

Word reached here Tuesday morning through a letter to E.H. Bohle, of the death of Rudolph Pelster on August 29, 1912, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. August Bohle, at Salem, Oregon, death being due to Bright's disease and other ailments peculiar to old age. Deceased was 82 years, 11 months and 21 days old. Mr. Pelster was for many years a resident of Brown County, coming here in the year of '88 and made his home on his farm northeast of Johnstown until two years ago October next when with his wife, he went to Salem, Oregon, and has since made that their home. He leaves to mourn his death, four children, Frank Pelster of Johnstown, Fred Pelster of Omaha, Miss Anna Pelster of San Francisco, and Mrs. August Bohle of Salem, Oregon, a wife, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Burial was made at Salem, Oregon. Besides relatives, the deceased leaves many friends in Brown County who will be saddened to know of his departure from this life.
