REYMAN,
Milton Libni
Milton L. Reyman
The death of M.L. Reyman last Saturday night just as the clock was tolling the hour of twelve, removed one of the pioneers of this county from his old home and friends where he had for over half a century been a prominent citizen, who had taken an active part in everything that tended towards the progress and happiness of the community in which he resided. Mr. Reyman was a man of genial disposition who was the friend of everybody and everybody was his friend. The Reyman home for years was the mecca of the young people of that neighborhood, it was the social center of the community where all received a cordial welcome.
Mr. Reyman was born Feb. 10, 1832 at Salem, Washington county, Indiana, and died at his home near Tekamah, Jan. 21, 1911, aged 78 yrs., 11 mo. and 11 days. He was united in marriage at his boyhood home to Miss Elizabeth J. Bundy Nov. 5, 1855 and in 1857 they started west and located here in the fall of that year where he has continually resided. To them were born eight children, one daughter preceded the father to the other world.
Mrs. George Douglas, Mrs. I. O. Hopewell, and Miss Kate reside here, and Mrs. J. S. Hancock of Stanton, and Claude B. of Wood Lake, Neb., and Abe at home, all of them being present at the funeral which was held at the home Monday afternoon, Rev. Summerville of Blair conducted the services and burial was made in the Arizona Center cemetery. The most sincere sympathy goes out to the bereft wife and children in the loss of a dear loving husband and father.
