REINERT,

MRS. REINERT
Gone to Her Rest
Died at her home in this city Friday night, April 28, 1899, of bronchial pneumonia, Mrs. Reinert, wife of George H. Reinert, at the age of 26 years, 7 months and 3 days.
Mrs. Reinert was sick only a short time and her death was a severe shock to her many friends and acquaintances. She was a loving, true and faithful wife and a kind mother. During the few years she had resided here she acquired a large circle of friends, all of whom learned to love and esteem her most highly and regret that she should be called away so soon, yet they rejoice to know that she died at perfect peace with her God, the Father of all. At an early age she united with the M E church and remained a faithful and consistent believer until the last. She leaves a father and mother, husband and two sons, one an infant the other nearly five years old to mourn her death.
The funeral service was conducted from the M E. Church Monday forenoon the pastor, Rev. O. S. Baker, preaching the funeral sermon. As a token of respect to the deceased and courtesy to their afflicted neighbors, members of the M.W.A. attended the funeral in a body, marching in the procession to the cemetery west of town where the last sad rites were performed.
Mrs. J. G. Moore, of Wintersett, Iowa, mother of deceased, Mr. Reinert’s mother and brothers Sim and Walt, of Ainsworth, and Mrs. Miles and Mrs. Clark, of Ainsworth, were present at the funeral. Father of the deceased was sick and therefore unable to attend.
CARD OF THANKS
To the Friends and neighbors who so kindly assisted me during the illness of my wife, and to the Modern Woodsmen who like true brothers participated in the funeral, I extend my sincere thanks. George H. Reinert
