Roseland resident, Robert L. “Animal” Einspahr, 55, passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at Mary Lanning Memorial Health Care; Hastings, NE. It was Robert’s wish not to have a memorial service. Book signing will be Thursday, August 25, 2011 from 6 PM to 8 PM at the Roseland Funeral Home, Roseland, NE. Arrangements by the Roseland Funeral Home, Roseland, NE. Condolences may be sent to the family from www.brandwilson.com. Robert was born October 1, 1955 to Eugene Paul and Margaret (Amaya) Einspahr in North Platte, NE. He graduated from the Campbell High School, in Campbell, NE. He served in the United States Army from October 1, 1973 to October 26, 1976. He married Peggy Ackerman on September 26, 1998. He worked for the Adams County Department of Roads as a Grader Operator. He had lived in the Roseland area for over 22 years coming from Campbell, NE. He was a member and treasurer of the Roseland Volunteer Fire Department in Roseland, NE for over 20 years and also worked as an EMT. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife Peggy of Roseland, NE, one step-daughter, Julie Walden of Grand Island, NE and one step-son, Nathan Walden and wife Toby of Bel Rico, Florida, three step-grandchildren, two brothers, Larry Einspahr and wife Mindy of Assumption, NE and Richard Einspahr and wife Robin of Elwood, NE, two nephews and one niece.
