Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Friday, September 28, 1984 at the Aurora United Methodist Church. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.
OBITUARY: Ruby Bamesberger
Ruby Agnes Bamesberger, the daughter of Alex and Jennie (Carrol) Salmon, was born at Stockham, Nebraska, on October 4, 1898, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on September 25, 1984, at the age of 85 years, 11 months and 21 days.
She grew up in the Stockham area, and on February 7, 1923, she was united in marriage to William M. Bamesberger at her parent’s farm near Stockham. William preceded her in death on July 30, 1958.
After her marriage they moved to Aurora, where she lived in the same house for 62 years.
Ruby was a member of the United Methodist Church in Aurora, and was very active in her church circle, the Extension Club and Senior Citizens.
She was very active all her life and always on the go. She enjoyed having her family around, and also did baby sitting for numerous families in Aurora.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother Peter “Bud” Salmon and one sister Lovenia Miller.
Those who remain to cherish her memory are 2 sons, Ervin of Aurora and Bill of Grand Island; two daughters, Wilma Smith of Crowley Lake, California and Marjorie Blasé of North Platte, Nebraska; brother, Frank Salmon of York, Nebraska; 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and close friends.
