Funeral Services were held 1:00 P.M., Friday, November 25, 1988 at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Hampton. Interment was held in the Hampton Cemetery. OBITUARY: Martha Bamesberger Martha Marie Bamesberger, the daughter of Fred and Rosina (Wall) Troester, was born in Hayes County, Nebraska, on April 9, 1895, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on November 22, 1988, at the age of 93 years, 7 months, and 13 days. Her family moved to the McCook area shortly after her birth, and she grew up and attended school in the McCook area. Later they moved to the Hampton area. On April 10, 1913, she was united in marriage to Carl G. Bamesberger at the Salem Lutheran Church near Hampton. They farmed southwest of Hampton and later southeast of Hampton. In 1944, they moved into Hampton. Carl preceded her in death on May 7, 1984. For the past 4 ½ years Martha has resided at the Hamilton Manor in Aurora. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Hampton, and was active in the Ladies Aid and the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League as long as her health permitted. Martha was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 6 brothers and 4 sisters, and one grandson. Those who remain to cherish her memory are her 2 sons, Harold of Hampton and Louis of Aurora; one daughter Violet Stettner of Hampton; 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
