Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Saturday, October 7, 1995 at the Aurora United Methodist Church. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery. OBITUARY: Edna Bamesberger Edna Grace Bamesberger, the daughter of Lewis and Della (Lee) Cruff, was born in Hamilton County, on June 5, 1902, and died at Aurora, Nebraska on October 4, 1995, at the age of 93 years, 3 months, and 29 days. She grew up near Aurora, received her education at District School #6, and graduated from Aurora High School with the class of 1920. After graduation she attended Stephens College at Columbia, Missouri for 2 years. On February 18, 1925, she was united in marriage to C.F. “Sam” Bamesberger, at Bellville, Kansas. He preceded her in death on March 17, 1974. They farmed southeast of Aurora, and later purchased a farm north of Aurora. In 1962, they retired and moved into Aurora. After their retirement they enjoyed traveling. Edna was a member of the Aurora United Methodist Church, and active in the church circles until her health failed. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother Ray Cruff, and one sister Lois Myers. Those who remain to cherish her memory are her brother, Gordon Cruff of Wheatland, Wyoming; one sister Mrs. Harry (Doris) Madsen of Hampton; and nieces and nephews.
