Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 17, 1984 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery. OBITUARY: Josephine Baker Josephine Ann Louise Baker, the daughter of Mont Joseph an dRosina Fredricks (Ehrman) Juett, was born December 16, 1924, at Giltner, Nebraska, and passed away on July 13, 1984, at Hastings, Nebraska, at the age of 59 years, 6 months and 27 days. Her childhood was spent near Giltner and she graduated from Giltner High School in 1943. On September 20, 1946, she was united in marriage to Andy Baker at Aurora, Nebraska. Josephine was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hastings. She worked in Grand Island at the Model Laundry and the Cornhusker Ammunition Depot. She she moved to Hastings she was employed at several restaurants. She has resided at the Parkside Living Residence in Hastings the last few years. Those who preceded her in death were her parents, and one infant brother, Joseph Wayne. Those remaining to cherish her memory are her three sons, Kenneth Eugene of Los Banos, California, Roger A. of Tacoma, Washington and Dennis D. of Menlo Park, California; two brothers, Clarence M. Juett of Redwood City, California and Leonard Calvin Juett of Denver, Colorado; sister Mrs. Elizabeth Johanna Helton of San Diego, California; 9 grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
