Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Thursday, July 5, 1990 at the Aurora United Methodist Church. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery. OBITUARY: Lowell Bahe Lowell Wilbur Bahe, the son of William and Melinda (Domeir) Bahe, was born at Strang, Nebraska, on September 5, 1928, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on July 1, 1990, at the age of 61 years, 9 months, and 26 days. He was raised in the Strang and Ohiowa areas and graduated from the Ohiowa High School. On September 2, 1956, he was united in marriage to Sharon Ann Carter, at Shickley, Nebraska. Lowell was employed from 1952 until 1962, by the Kaneb Pipeline in Geneva, and moved to Aurora in 1962, where he was area manager for the Murphy Feed Company. He had been a farmer all his life, and had farmed in the Aurora area since 1964. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Bruning and Aurora, and had served on the Board of Trustees for a number of years. He was also a member of the Bruning Fire Department and was a 17 year member of the Aurora Fire Department, before retiring in 1987. He was preceded in death by his parents and 4 brothers, Marvin, Elmer, Kenneth and Wilmer. Those who remain to cherish his memory are his wife, Sharon, of Aurora; one son Ronald of Lincoln, one daughter Anita of Aurora; 4 brothers, Keith of Grand Island, Max and Lester both of Ohiowa, and Rex of Shickley; 3 sisters, Lucille Hill of Vernonia, Oregon, Ruth Leff of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Betty Colgrove of Forest Grove, Oregon.
