Jo Bachman, age 71, of Giltner, died Sunday, October 16, 2005, at Wedgewood Care Center in Grand Island. Graveside Services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, October 19th at the Giltner Cemetery. There will be a luncheon served by the American Legion at the Giltner Town Hall following the service. OBITUARY: CAROLYN 'JO' BACHMAN Carolyn Jo Bachman, the daughter of Victor and Marie (Tucker) Moffett, was born in Sparkman, Arkansas on June 13, 1934 and died in Grand Island, Nebraska on October 16, 2005, at the age of 71. She spent her early years in California, before moving to Giltner during her teen years. Jo graduated from Giltner High School. Jo was united in marriage to Elmer Bachman on May 2, 1954, at Giltner. She spent her time raising their four daughters. Jo enjoyed sewing, making crafts and gardening. She also liked to spend her time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Bobbie and Billie and brother, Jim Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Elmer Bachman of Giltner; four daughters, Vickie (Earl) Bieck of Giltner, Becky Kolb of Lincoln, Ronda (Kent) Jorgenson and Kelly Sanders both of Giltner; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
