Funeral Services were held 10:00 A.M., Friday, January 27, 1989 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery. OBITUARY: Johnny Anderson Clarence Eugene “Johnny” Anderson, the son of Nels and Ida (Dahlstrom) Anderson, was born at Walnut, Illinois, on October 27, 1894, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on January 24, 1989, at the age of 94 years, 2 months, and 27 days. He came to Aurora as a boy. On February 2, 1915, he was united in marriage to Lelah Anderson, at Lincoln. They owned and operated a filling station in Aurora, and also operated a taxi and drey service in Aurora for many years. Lelah preceded him in death on June 21, 1977. Johnny was a member of the Aurora Presbyterian United Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, 3 brothers, Harold, Lee and Kenneth, and one sister Eva Ludquist. Survivors include nieces and nephews.
