TINNELL, Margery Janiece

Margery Janiece (Vlieger) Tinnell, 64, of Dannebrog died Friday, February 24, 2006, at her home after battling cancer. Services will be at 10:30 A.M. Monday at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home. Stanley Morrison and Leslie Pountney will officiate. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 4 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home. Janiece was born November 9, 1941, at Winterset, Iowa to James and Dorothy (Lyddon) Vlieger. Survivors of the immediate family include her husband, Harry Tinnell of Dannebrog; one daughter and son-in-law, Janette and Clyde Williams of Dannebrog; three sons and daughters-in-law, Jeffrey and Misty Tinnell of Minatare, NE, Jerrold and Michelle Tinnell of Chapman and James Tinnell and Sheila Walsh of Chapman; one sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Dean Klenk of Marshalltown, IA; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul and Norma Vlieger of Norwalk, IA, James and Goldie Vlieger of Peru, IA and Kenneth and Michelle Vlieger of Indianola, IA. She also leaves to cherish her memory 10 grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren; as well as many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends and other relatives. Janiece graduated from Winterset High School in Winterset, Iowa in 1959. She married Harry Tinnell on October 18, 1963, at Winterset. Janiece loved her family and enjoyed being a homemaker. She also did some child care work while raising her own family and for a few years after her children left home. The past 20 years she helped Harry with their Interclean business answering the phone and acting as bookkeeper. She loved spending tie with her family and entertaining the grandchildren playing games with them. She also enjoyed taking pictures and creating photo albums and traveling with Harry to many locations with the pickup and camper. At the age of 12, Janiece gave her heart to the Lord and was faithful to her choice until death. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister and brother-in-law, Imogene and Jasper DeRaad of Belle Plaine, IA.
