Sharon K. Capps, 69, of Grand Island, died Thursday, December 29, 2005 at Beverly Healthcare at Parkplace. Mrs. Capps will be cremated, and there will be no visitation, or services. Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Capps was born on February 23, 1936 in McCook, Nebraska to Clarance and Helen (Oakerson) Raichart. Survivors of the immediate family include four daughters and sons-in-law, Pamela & Herman Suazo, and Diane & Ken Orr all of Grand Island, Deb & Bruce Barnhouse of Lincoln, and Misty & Rick Koenig of Loveland, Colorado; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Tim Capps of North Loup, and Gene & Brenda Capps of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and one sister, DeAnna Rasser of Arizona. Additional survivors include 9 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Mrs. Capps received her education in McCook and Lincoln. She graduated from Lincoln East High School. She married James Capps in Lincoln. The couple lived in Lincoln and Seward before moving to Kremmling, Colorado. While in Kremmling, Mrs. Capps was employed as a ward clerk at the hospital. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and working with crafts. She was preceded in death by her husband in April 2005; a daughter, Anne Phillips in 2001; and a granddaughter, Alexis in 2003.
