Myrtle M. Keller, 91, of Grand Island died Saturday, November 05, 2005, at Beverly Healthcare at Lakeview.
Services will be at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home. The Rev. Jerry Quandt will officiate. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will from 4 to 8 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
Myrtle was born August 8, 1914, at Long Pine, NE to Herman and Minnie (Struve) Boltz.
Survivors of the immediate family include 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Don and Shirley Holmes of Grand Island and Bob and Neva Holmes of Kearney; one daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Harlan Sorenson of Grand Island; one stepson and step-daughter-in-law, Marvin Jr. and Shirley Keller of Grand Island and one step-daughter and step-son-in-law, Loraine and Dennis Klatt of Decatur, NE.
Additional survivors include numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Myrtle grew up and attended school in the Kenesaw School District.
She married Vermoyn D. Holmes on June 22, 1932 at Clay Center, NE.
She moved to Grand Island in 1945 and worked in various local bakeries in the early part of her life.
She married Marvin Keller Sr. on May 30, 1950, at St. Louis, MO.
Myrtle enjoyed fishing and hunting up until the time she was no longer able to drive.
She was a member of the Lutheran faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Sr. on May10, 1982; a step-daughter, Judy Nielsen; five brothers and three sisters.
