Margaret V. Hurd, 86, of Grand Island, died Sunday, October 30, 2005 at the Wedgewood Care Center. 
There will be a memorial wake service for Margaret on Saturday, November 5, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Allan & Margie Hurd at 423 N. Mill Street in Dannebrog. All are welcome to pay their respects and visit with friends and family. 
Mrs. Hurd was cremated at Westlawn Memorial Park Crematory and there will be no visitation. 
Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 
Margaret was born on January 7, 1919 in Grand Island to Lacy and Anna (Deichman) Schroeder. 
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Allan & Margie Hurd of Dannebrog; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert Schroder of Grand Island; and one sister, Glenda Tryon of Parker, Colorado.
