GROSSE, Hazel

Mrs. Hazel Grosse Mrs. Hazel Reyman Grosse was born in Cherry County, Nebr. on August 26, 1893 and passed away Aug. 13, 1968 at the age of 74 years, eleven months and 17 days. She grew to womanhood in the community southeast of Valentine and on Dec. 21, 1916 was married to John Grosse of the same vicinity. Three children were born to them. Mr. and Mrs. Grosse have lived in Crookston for the past 35 years. She died in her home very suddenly on Tuesday afternoon, August 13. Mrs. Grosse was a member of the Woman’s Society of the Crookston Methodist Church and a member of the Royal Neighbors of Valentine. The deceased was preceded in death by her son Bob and her daughter, Mary Ellen, both of whom passed away some years ago. Bob was a high school boy and Mary Ellen was a young adult of 27 years. Survivors are her husband, John, son Harold, both of Crookston; one brother, Bruce Reyman of Wood Lake, Nebr., three sisters, Mrs. Genevieve Fry and Mrs. Kathryn Stalnaker, both of Chappel, Nebr., Mrs. Josephine Eberhart of Bassett, Nebr., and two granddaughters, one in Salina, Kansas, and one in Greeley, Colo. Funeral services were August 16 at Crookston Methodist Church with Rev. Cecil Green in charge. Burial was in Mt. Hope cemetery, Valentine
