Tina Carter Moon, 34 years of age from Heiskell, TN, formerly of Minden, NE died on September 28, 2012 in Heiskell. Tina was born on December 26, 1977 in Temple, TX to Jan and Lisa (Morris) Carter. She grew up in the Minden area and later moved to Tennessee and lived in Knoxville and Trezevant. Tina loved being around friends and family. She also enjoyed listening to music. Survivors include her two sons, Dylan and Brandon Moon of Trezevant, TN; her parents, Jan Carter and his wife, Lori of Minden and Lisa Patterson and her husband, Norman of Knoxville, TN; brother, Jaysen Carter of Minden; two sisters, Christy Carter and Catherine Space both of Minden; two step-brothers, Nathan Bruggeman of Minden and Eric Patterson of Knoxville; two step-sisters, Jessica Bruggeman of Grand Island and Stacie Massengill of Knoxville; grand parents Thelma Morris of Paris, TN, Judy Sherbeck and her husband, Gene of Ravenna and Edma Patterson of Caribou, Maine; nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Arnold Carter, Vera Carter, Val Carter, Norman Patterson Sr., and Herbert Zech. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Minden with Rev. Donald Becker officiating. Burial will be in the Minden Cemetery. There will be no public visitation. Layton-Craig Funeral Home in Minden is in charge of arrangements. A memorial fund has been established in her name.
