Bradley W. Nichol, 55 years of age from Minden, NE died on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. Brad was born on July 13, 1957 in Minden to William “Bill” and Carolyn (Hansen) Nichol. He grew up in Minden and graduated from Minden High School in 1975. He attended Kearney State College and later moved to Oregon and then to Corpus Christi, TX and worked as a plumber. He moved back to Minden in 1995 to work with his brothers, Jay and Todd in the family plumbing business, “Bill's Plumbing. Brad was a member of the Westminster United Presbyterian Church in Minden. He enjoyed Husker Football, the Dallas Cowboys, deep sea fishing, being on the beach, golfing and Nascar. Brad had a dry sense of humor, he loved being around his family and he also loved to cook. Memorials are suggested to the church or to the donor's choice. Survivors include his mother, Carolyn of Minden, brother, Jay Nichol of Minden and Todd Nichol and his wife, Jenny of Minden; niece and nephew, Payton Nichol and Cameron Nichol; and his aunt, Bobbie Nichol of Minden. He is preceded in death by his father, Bill Nichol and his grandparents. Memorial services will be on Monday, September 17, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Westminster United Presbyterian Church in Minden with Rev. Daniel Davis officiating. Burial will be prior to the memorial service at the Minden Cemetery. Layton-Craig Funeral Home in Minden is in charge of arrangements.
