COFFIN, Monte

Monte Coffin, 38 years of age from Minden died on December 23, 2011 at his home in Minden after a brief illness. Monte was born on January 11, 1973 in Longmont, CO to Myron and Judy (Dragoo) Coffin. He grew up in Loveland. When he was a freshman they moved to Loup City. He worked in the Loup City area for a short time. On October 28, 1995 he married Bonnie McNeel in Loup City. They moved to Minden five years ago. He worked at Royal Composites. He liked to tinker in his garage, help his neighbors, camp, fish and collect knives. Most of all he loved being with his family. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie of Minden; two daughters, Mykayla and Summer of Minden; son, Anthony of Burwell; step son, Eric Kuszak of Loup City; granddaughter, Taelyn Kuszak of Loup City; father, Myron Coffin and step mom, Shirley of Loup City; mother in-law, Carol Cech of Loup City; three brothers, Myron Dean Coffin and his wife, Jonna of Fort Collin, CO, Marty Coffin and his wife, Tami of Loup City and Mikal Coffin of Loup City; sister, Misty Kuhlmann and her husband, Travis of Minden and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, grandparents and niece, Kyli Coffin. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bethany Lutheran Church in Minden with Rev. Donald Hunzeker officiating. Graveside services will be at the Loup City Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Visitation will be at the Craig Funeral Home in Minden on Tuesday from 5-7 p.m.
