DEATH REMOVES ANOTHER Mrs. Edna Millard Barrett Succumbs To an All Too Frequent Visitor. At the home of her husband in Rockford on last week Thursday, Mrs. Charles Barrett, nee Edna Millard departed this life. All that medical aid and tender care could do to avert the sad end was done, but without avail. But just in the midst of the enjoyment of a happy home of their own, breaking asunder of the ties, fell with crushing force on the young husband. Edna Millard was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Millard, and was universally esteemed by all her acquaintances. She was born in Genoa, Ill., Jan. 17, 1875, and attended the Genoa public school until her graduation, May 29, 1895. She began teaching in the district schools adjoining. Her work there has always been very creditable. The remains were brought to Genoa Friday and funeral services were conducted Sunday morning at the A. C. church. The interment took place in the Genoa cemetery and was witnessed by the relatives and a large number of sympathising friends.
