FRITSON, Beverly

Beverly Fritson, 80 years of age from Minden, Nebraska died on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at the Bethany Home in Minden. Beverly was born on July 8, 1931 in Upland, Nebraska to Alvin and Sophie (Dunse) Schroder. She grew up in the Upland area and graduated from Upland High School. On August 29, 1950 she married Leon Fritson in Macon. They made their in Minden and were blessed with three children, Bruce, Tammy and David. She worked at the FSA office for many years and later worked for the city of Minden as a secretary. She retired in 1993. Beverly was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church in Minden. She enjoyed playing cards, visiting with friends and most all being around her children and grandchildren. Memorials are suggested to the Bethany Home or the Bethany Lutheran Church both in Minden. Survivors include two sons, Bruce Fritson of Phoenix and David Fritson and his wife, Stacey of Minden; daughter, Tammy Stadler and her husband, Sam of Minden; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leon, two brothers and six sisters. Funeral services will be on Monday, August 22, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bethany Lutheran Church in Minden with Rev. Donald Hunzeker officiating. Burial will be in the Minden Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Layton-Craig Funeral Home in Minden on Sunday from 4-7 p.m. with the family present from 4-5 p.m.
