WEAVER, Patricia A.

Patricia A. Weaver, 76 years of age from Axtell died on Sunday, April 17, 2011 at the Phelps Memorial Health Center in Holdrege. Pat was born on August 26, 1934 in Mellott, Indiana to Charles and Ruby (Mortimore) Anno. She grew up in Attica and graduated from Attica High School. On August 21, 1953 she married Lawrence “Larry” Weaver in Ambia, Indiana. They lived in Attica, Indiana until moving to Axtell in 1964. Pat was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church in Axtell. She was an avid Nebraska Football fan and was devoted up until the time of her death. She enjoyed reading in her gazebo, collecting dolls and shopping. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Larry of Axtell; son, Mike Weaver and his wife, Deb of Axtell; daughter, Deb Sprague and her fiancé, Mark Readshaw both of Fairfax, IA; four grandchildren, Erica Robertson and her husband, John of Stanton, NE, Jesse Weaver of Kearney, Drew Sayer and his wife, Whitney of Fort Collins, CO and Jamie Weaver of Kearney; two great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Isabelle Robertson and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Keith Anno and Harold Anno. Funeral services will be on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Axtell with Rev. Erica Harley officiating. Visitation will be at the Layton-Craig Funeral Home in Minden on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. with the family present from 5-7 p.m. Private family burial will be at the later date. Memorials are suggested to the First Presbyterian Church in Axtell or the American Cancer Society.
