Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, May 9, 1984 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery. OBITUARY: Arthur H. Anderson Arthur H. Anderson, the son of Ola and Ellen (Pearson) Anderson, was born at Hampton, Nebraska, on July 31, 1891, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on May 6, 1984, at the age of 92 years, 9 months and 5 days. His childhood was spent in the Hampton area, and on December 12, 1912, he was united in marriage to Emma Josephine Peterson near Hampton. He farmed for many years and later he entered the farm management business, which his now know as Anderson-Gustafson. He retired several years ago and entered the Hamilton Manor where he has since resided. Art, as he was known by all, was a member of the United Methodist Church, the Aurora Rotary Club and was mayor of Aurora form 1952 to 1958. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Josephine, 3 brothers, John, Frank and one in infancy; 4 sisters, Bess Anderson, Edith Champion, Anna Hendricksen and Mary Peterson. Those who survive to cherish his memory are his son Dale of Marathon, Florida; 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren and other relatives and close friends.
