ANDERSON, Alice E.

Graveside Services were held 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 29, 1990 at the Aurora Cemetery. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery. Alice E. Anderson, the daughter of William and Addie (Clawson) Williams, was born at Grand River, Iowa, on November 21, 1909, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on August 27, 1990, at the age of 80 years, 9 months, and 6 days. She moved to Hamilton County, Nebraska, in 1917, where she has since resided. While living in Aurora, she worked in several restaurants and managed her own restaurant for a time. On January 29, 1919, she was united in marriage to Corda Fye, at Grand Island. He preceded her in death in June of 1932. On October 31, 1936, she married Elmer Anderson at Grand Island, and he died on December 28, 1958. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, 4 brothers, Othia, Donald, Vern and Arbie Williams; one son Donald Fye and one grandson Mike Fye. Those who remain to cherish her memory are her son Corda “Corky” Fye of Aurora; one brother Roy Williams of Florida; 2 sisters, Ruby Eaton of Simi Valley, California, and Lola May Williams of Aurora; 6 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
