Bryan Kenneth
Bryan was the son of Kenneth Clayton and Clovis Oleta (Barron) Foster. Following his high school graduation he attended the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley on a baseball scholarship where he also played basketball. He was later drafted by the St Louis Cardinals baseball organization and played in their farm system.
Bryan married Kari Oleson on Sept. 1, 1970 in Dickinson, N.D. They had two children, Todd and Kristin.
In 1994, Bryan met Bernadine Archuleta Pierce and together with her three daughters, Karissa, Katrina, and Kellsie, built their life in Durango and Longmont, Colorado.
As a young professional, Bryan worked in the investment industry focusing on wealth management. He managed Paine Webber offices in Des Moines, Iowa and later in Oklahoma City before moving to Colorado. His most recent endeavor was in real estate. He attended both Flatirons Community Church in Lafayette and New Creation Church in Longmont.
Bryan enjoyed a love and interest for horses from a young age He most recently invested in cutting horses and competed at the amateur level. He also had great passion for ranching, baseball, and golf.
Bryan was preceded in death by his father in 1995 and one sister, Joyce Heiser, in 2005.
Bryan was survived by his mother, Clovis Cameron, stepfather, Dave Cameron, and stepmother, Helen Foster all of Ainsworth, NE., his life partner Bernadine Pierce of Longmont, CO, his son Todd Foster and wife Libby of Boston, MA, daughters; Kristin Martindale and husband Garret of Oakland, CA, Karissa Pierce, Katrina Pierce, and Kellsie Pierce of Longmont, CO. Also surviving are his sisters Gae Foster of Albuquerque, NM and Judy Jones and husband Roger of Georgetown, TX as well as four grandchildren: Luke Kenneth Foster, Ben Charles Foster, Madeline Ava Martindale, and James Clayton Foster.
