KEIM,
Clark Eugene
Clark Eugene Keim was born on 9-5-1954 on a Sunday morning to Ralph and Gwen (Clark) Keim. He had big blue eyes, red hair and "Oh, what a joy he was!" They lived near Meadville, NE where Clark's grandparents, Bill and Mary Clark, owned the Meadville Store where Mary was the postmaster.
Clark was driving by the time he was 6 and was helping in the hay field by the time he was 8. He attended kindergarten through 6th grade at District 57 in Meadville. The school closed and his parents moved to Ainsworth, NE so Clark could attend 7th and 8th grades. He graduated from Ainsworth High School in 1972. In June of 1973, Clark married Sue Seberger and to this union, two children were born, Keeley Kay in 1975 and Kevin Eugene in 1977.
Clark was engaged in farming with his father, Ralph, in Meadville and Mabelo from the time he graduated from high school, or you might say from the minute he was born. He and his father were featured in the Bicentennial Farmer's 1976-1977 edition of Who's Who in the State of Nebraska.
Clark married Jeannie Morrow Saar in July of 1986, and with this union came Jeannie's daughter Mykaela, who became an important part of Clark's life. They raised their blended family in Long Pine, NE and the children graduated from Ainsworth and Bassett High Schools.
After the children graduated from high school, Clark and Jeannie moved to the Lincoln area, where he sold farm equipment for several years. Recently he was an insurance adjuster for Farm Bureau. He could fix anything mechanical. He loved to spend hours rebuilding tractors, trucks, lawn mowers or anything with a motor. You name it! He could take it apart, put it back together, and make it run. He loved computers, country music, dancing, a good laugh, eating ice cream and always made good use of his mobile to mobile minutes talking to the ones he loved on a regular basis
Clark was a straight talker and a good listener. He loved his place in life and all the blessings that went with it. Family and friends meant the world to him. His most important role in life was being the fun PAPA, to his 5 grandchildren. Cameron, Payton, Mia, Parker and Kade were his top priorities.
Clark passed away on May 2, 2009 at age 54 in Lincoln, NE. We all are the poorer for his early death. He was laid to rest in the Keim/Clark family plot in Ainsworth, NE. He beloved mother Gwen, and grandparents Bill and Mary Clark and Frank and Gertrude Keim preceded him in death. Grateful to have shared his life are his wife of 22 years, Jeannie Keim; his father Ralph Keim; sisters, Carolyn Keim and Merry Lynne Maxwell (Bill Rose); daughters, Keeley Lammers (Adam) and Mykaela Peterson (Joel); son, Kevin Keim (Brook); and his five grandchildren.
