GREIN, Sarah J.

Sarah J. Grein, 48, of Grand Island, died Sunday, March 13, 2005 at her home. Funeral services will be on Thursday at 10:30 A.M. at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home. The Rev. Vern Rice will officiate. Burial will be at the Grand Island City Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Sarah was born on November 21, 1956 in Grand Island to Louis J. and Evelyn (Slattery) Grein. Survivors of the immediate family include two sisters and one brother-in-law, Mary Rock of Grand Island, and Susan & Bob Meier of Grand Island. Additional survivors include four nieces and nephews, and six great-nieces and nephews. Sarah received her education in Grand Island, and graduated from Grand Island Senior High in 1975. She did volunteer work at St. Francis Skilled Care, and Beverly Healthcare at Parkplace. She most recently worked with Mid-Nebraska Individual Services. Sarah enjoyed spending time with her family and her pets, and she enjoyed traveling. Sarah was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, and Strong Americans. She was preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers, Louis Grein Jr., Charles Grein, and James Grein.
