Ruth M. Everett, 75, of Grand Island, died Sunday, February 6, 2005 at Beverly Healthcare at Parkplace. 
As per her request, Mrs. Everett will be cremated, and there will be no services. Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 
Mrs. Everett was born on October 22, 1929 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Lloyd and Josephine (Peterson) Collins. 
Survivors of the immediate family include her husband, Jay C. Everett of Grand Island; one daughter, Karla Zimbelman of Lincoln; a son, Karl Kapka; and a step-daughter, Gwen Luschei of Springfield, Missouri. 
Additional survivors include two granddaughters, Jocelyn Smelker of Grand Island, and Jasmine Zimbelman of Grand Island; and one grandson, Jeremy Barnes of South Carolina. 
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Karrie Kapka
