Johnny W. Anderson, 52, of Grand Island, died Saturday, January 29, 2005, at his home.
Memorial services will be at 1:30 P.M. Wednesday at St. Pauls Lutheran Church. The Rev. Joel Schroeder will officiate.
There will be no visitation. Mr. Anderson’s body was cremated.
Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Johnny was born October 9, 1952, at Holdrege, to Floyd W. and LaMaryce (Johnson) Anderson.
Survivors of the immediate family include his wife, Deb of Grand Island; one son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Jennifer Brown of Grand Island; two daughters and son-in-law, Danielle Anderson of Grand Island and Jennifer and Jason Tanner of Phoenix, AZ; his mother, LaMaryce Anderson of Holdrege; two sisters and brother-in-law, Donna and George Lehner and Sherri Anderson all of Atlanta, GA; and one brother, Larry Anderson of Eagle, NE
Additional survivors include five grandchildren, Brynna and Nathan Tanner, Myah and Sydney Brown and Alex Eaton.
Johnny grew up in the Holdrege area attending schools in Funk and later in Holdrege, graduating from Holdrege High School in 1971.
He married Teresa Streff on March 16, 1974, at Arlington, VA. They moved to Grand Island in May of 1977 where Johnny worked in parts sales.
Johnny married Deborah (Catchpool) Brown on September 11, 1993. He had worked as a salesman for Precision Industries since 1986.
Johnny loved children, especially his grandchildren. He had a special appreciation of animals and enjoyed chocolate. He was an avid Harley-Davidson enthusiast.
He was preceded in death by his father.
