Louise V. Krejca, 84, of Grand Island, died Sunday, December 26, 2004 at the Skilled Care Unit of the St. Francis Medical Center. Memorial services will be on Thursday at 10:00 A.M. at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home. The Rev. Jerry Quandt will officiate. There will be no visitation. Mrs. Krejca’s body was cremated. Private burial will be at a later date at Elmwood Cemetery at St. Paul. Mrs. Krejca was born on July 6, 1920 at St. Paul to Charles and Aletha (Fuller) Andersen. Survivors of the immediate family include two sons and daughter-in-law, Charles James & Margo Dvorak and Richard Emil Dvorak all of Yukon, Oklahoma; one daughter and son-in-law, Virginia & Jim Koehn of Grand Island; one brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Marie Andersen of St. Paul. Additional survivors include three grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and two nieces. Louise grew up and attended grade school and high school in St. Paul. She married Emil Dvorak on April 22, 1939 in Kansas. Louise was employed at the Cornhusker Army Ammunition Plant, and then as a sales clerk at K-Mart. She married Lee Krejca in 1980 in Knights Landing, California. After Lee’s death in 1984, she returned to Grand Island. She was a member of the Danish Sisterhood of America #113. She enjoyed her home, gardening, reading, and spending time with her family. Memorials are suggested to the family.
