QUANDT, Tim A.


Tim A. Quandt, 30 of Elizabeth, Colorado, formerly of Grand Island, died Tuesday, August 31, 2004 at his home. Funeral services will be on Saturday at 11:00 A.M. at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home. The Rev. Jerry Quandt will officiate. Burial will be at the Chapman Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Mr. Quandt was born on July 20, 1974 in Grand Island to Allen & Linda (Rathman) Quandt. Survivors of the immediate family include his wife, Shelly Anderson of Elizabeth, Colorado; a step-daughter, Kelsey; a son, Dylan of New York; his mother, Linda Quandt of Grand Island; his father and step-mother, Allen & Carol Quandt of Chapman; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Stacy & Pat Phelan of Prairie Village, Kansas, and Jenny Quandt of Overland Park, Kansas; one brother, Jeff Quandt of Grand Island; a step-brother, Greg Mathis of Minneapolis, Minnesota; and two step-sisters and brother in law, Jill Mathis of Denver, and Kyla & Ryan Lilienthal of Parker, Colorado. Additional survivors include Tim’s beloved dog Brandi, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Tim received his education in Grand Island and graduated from Northwest High School in 1992. After his education he was employed at Penrose Machining in Grand Island for 7 years. He moved to Colorado in October of 2001. Mr. Quandt was employed by Adam Aircraft in Centennial, Colorado. He enjoyed fishing, camping, golf, playing washoes, playing pool, gardening, reading, playing computer games, and especially enjoyed Nebraska football. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Walter Quandt and Evelyn Peterson; and his maternal grandparents, Charles & Lillian Rathman.
