JOHNSON, Arline U.

Arline U. Johnson, 82, of Grand Island, died Tuesday, May 25, 2004 at Beverly Healthcare at Parkplace. Miss Johnson donated her body to the department of Biomedical Sciences at Creighton University in Omaha. Memorial services will be on Friday, June 4th at 10:00 A.M. at Trinity United Methodist Church. The Rev. Del Roper will officiate. Arline was born on January 5, 1922 at Dannebrog to Roy & Bertha (Petersen) Johnson. Survivors of the family include three nephews, Ted Hall of Pleasanton, Tim Hall of Sutton and Jeff Jackson of Grand Island; four nieces, Julie Sheridan of Tucson, Arizona, Debby Buchanas of Porterville, California, Renae Vieira of San Ramon, California, and Cindy Rogelstad of Clayton, California. Arline received her education at her home. She moved to Grand Island at an early age, and has lived here her entire life. She had been a resident at Park Place Nursing Center since April 2001. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother Roy Johnson Jr. and one sister, Betty Jackson. Memorials are suggested to the family.
