KRAFTZIK, Ingeburg Martha

Ingeburg Martha Kraftzik, 76 of 1622 N. Lincoln, died Wednesday, December 27, 2000 at her home. Services will be Saturday, December 30, 2000; 10:30 A.M. at Zion Lutheran Church with Rev. Donald E. Boeschen officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Ingeburg Martha Kraftzik was born September 26, 1924 in Wilhelmshaven, Germany to Karl & Henrietta (Koester) Horche. She and her parents and three sisters lived in Hastings, Nebraska from March 1927 to July 1935. During that time she attended Zion Lutheran school in Hastings. Shortly before the war broke out, they moved back to Germany. In 1949, she married Erwin Kraftzik in Germany. He preceded her in death on May 1, 1983. They moved from Germany to Hastings, Nebraska in July of 1953. She retired from Mode ‘O' Day Clothing Company after 21 years of service. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Ingeburg Kraftzik was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Erwin and 1 sister, Marilyn Doughty. Survivors include, Son & Daughter-in-law: Michael & Nancy Kraftzik - Hastings, NE Daughter & Son-in-law: Karin & John Hill - Kearney, NE Grandchildren: Amanda Rohrig Scott Uhrich Shawn Uhrich Great Grandchildren: Tanner Uhrich Maxin Uhrich Kali Jo Uhrich Kiara Uhrich Sisters: Mrs. Anneliese Drogi - Wilhelmshaven, Germany Mrs. Rosemarie Thormann - Braunschweig, Germany Memorial maybe given to the Zion Lutheran Church Butler-Volland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
