Della Mann, 93, of Perkins Pavilion, died Friday, December 1, 2000 at Perkins Pavilion.
Private graveside services and burial will be Wednesday, December 6, 2000 at Blue Springs Cemetery, Blue Springs, Nebraska.
Della Mann was born July 9, 1907 in Brooklyn, New York to George & Elizabeth (VanZanten) Cowden. She came to Nebraska on the Orphan Train and settled with a family in Blue Springs. On March 26, 1927, she married Charles E. Mann in Marysville, Kansas and he preceded her in death in 1985. She was a homemaker and a 50 year member of First Christian Church and also a member of Eastern Star Vesper Chapter #9, both in Beatrice, Nebraska. She was a member of Daughters of the Nile and Shrine Auxiliary in Hastings, Nebraska.
Della Mann was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles; 2 brothers, 1 sister, and 2 foster sisters.
Survivors include, Daughter & Son-in-law, Yvonne & Ted Ziemba - Hastings, NE; Grandchildren, Michael Ziemba - Hastings, NE,Mary Conner - Kansas City, KS; 5 Great Grandchildren
Memorial may be given to Shriners Hospitals for Crippled Children
