Graveside Services were held 10:00 A.M., Thursday, February 25, 1993 at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Kronborg, Nebraska. OBITUARY: Lewis Andersen Lewis P. Andersen, the son of Louis and Anine (Christensen) Andersen, was born near Hordville, Nebraska, on April 6, 1902, and died at Long Beach, California, on February 19, 1993, at the age of 90 years, 10 months, and 13 days. The family moved to Marquette, Nebraska, where he grew up and attended school. On June 12, 1934, he was united in marriage to Helen Cain at Omaha. Lewis was involved in banking all his life, and began in Omaha, then Sidney, and later moved to California. He was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church at Kronborg. He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, Edward, Elmer, and Rudy; 5 sisters, Josephine and Ida Andersen, Dora Feddersen, Emma Bensen, and Sena Larsen. Those who remain to cherish his memory are his wife Helen of Long Beach, California; one brother Andy of Central City, and one sister Clara Rasmussen of Aurora, and many nieces and nephews.
