Janet Andersen, age 66, of Aurora, died Tuesday, June 28, 2005, at her home. Funeral Services will be held 10:30 A.M., Friday, July 1st at St. John Lutheran Church in Kronborg. Rev. Pam Ciulla will officiate. Interment will be in the St. John Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 P.M. Thursday at Higby-McQuiston Mortuary in Aurora. OBITUARY: JANET ANDERSEN Janet Joyce Andersen, the daughter of Vaughn L. and Ruth (Fauquier) Tyler, was born in Central City, Nebraska on October 13, 1938 and died in Aurora, Nebraska on June 28, 2005, at the age of 66. She grew up near Central City and attended District 8 rural school through the 8th grade. Janet graduated from Central City High School in 1956. She then attended Kearney State College and went on to teach school at District 48 & 19 near Central City and District 28 near Chapman. On December 17, 1961, she was united in marriage to Ronald L. Andersen at Central City. Two sons were born to this union, Allen and Dale. She helped out on the family farm and taught piano lessons and accompanied music groups at the Marquette school. Ron and Janet moved to Aurora in 1999. Ron passed away on January 13, 2002. Janet was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church, where she was an organist for 40 years, a WELCA officer and participated in their bible study. She was a charter member of Nimble Thimble Quilt Guild and was also a member of a number of extension clubs throughout the years. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two infant grandsons. Those left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Allen (Darla) and Dale all of Marquette; grandson, Daniel Andersen of Marquette and a sister, Becky Hajny of Clay Center.
