Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Thursday, January 8, 1987 at the Aurora United Methodist Church. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery. OBITUARY: William Wesley Allen William Wesley Allen, the son of Wilbur and Mary (Christiansen) Allen, was born at Eldena, Illinois, on March 10, 1908, and passed away at Lincoln, Nebraska, on January 3, 1987, at the age of 78 years, 9 months, and 23 days. He spent his childhood in Illinois, and at the age of 6, he came with his parents to Aurora, Nebraska, where they made their home 4½ miles north of Aurora. He received his education at District 56, at Aurora. On March 16, 1929, he was united in marriage to Cecile Radcliff, of Bradshaw, at Belleville, Kansas. Bill lived on the home place all his life, except for 3 years when they farmed at Marquette. He was a member of the Marquette United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, and one infant daughter. Those who remain to cherish his memory are his wife Cecile; one son Stanley W. of rural Aurora; one daughter, Beverly Rezek of Omaha; one brother, Clifford of Yucca Valley, California; one sister Gladys Swedberg of Charles City, Iowa; 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and close friends.
