Crystal Abbott, age 26, of Aurora, died Monday, December 1, 2008 at Litzenberg Memorial County Hospital in Central City. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 A.M., Thursday, December 4th at Higby-McQuiston Chapel in Aurora. Higby-McQuiston Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. OBITUARY: CRYSTAL ABBOTT Crystal Dawn Abbott, the daughter of Barry Lee and Marilyn Sue (Dahnke) Abbott, was born in Grand Island, Nebraska on February 8, 1982 and died in Central City, Nebraska on December 1, 2008, at the age of 26. She was raised in Grand Island. Crystal attended school in Grand Island and St. Paul. Crystal had worked at Fonner Park Keno in Grand Island, Shell Gas Station and Casey’s in Aurora. She was preceded in death by her father and grandfather, Bob Dahnke. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Jasmin, Nikki and Coral; mother, Marilyn Bottorf of Aurora; sister, Cindy Smith of Aurora; grandmother of Mary Dahnke of Stratton and aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
