Jeannette Ann Harms, 69 years of age from Hildreth, NE died on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. Jeannette was born on September 7, 1941 in Franklin County, Nebraska to Simon and Frieda (Albers) Fegter. She grew up in the Hildreth area and graduated from Hildreth High School in 1959. On September 6, 1959 she married Marvin Harms. They lived, farmed and raised their family in the Hildreth area. She worked for six years at the Grandview Manor Nursing Home in Campbell as a nursing assistant. Jeannette was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Hildreth. She enjoyed playing bingo, spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jeannette was a great cook, liked to garden and raise plants. Also she enjoyed her dogs, Buddy and Baby. Survivors include her husband, Marvin of Hildreth; two sons, Lynn Harms and his wife, Jeanne of Hildreth and Gaylin Harms and his wife, Brenda of Hildreth; one daughter, Janelle Harms of Kearney; six grandchildren, Christopher, Brandon, Shari, Aubree, Jacob and Dakota; two great grandchildren, Joseph and Espen. She is preceded in death by her parents and two children, Rhodell and Marilyn. Funeral services will be on Monday, October 11, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Hildreth, Nebraska with Reverends Steve and Patti Byrne officiating. Burial will be in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery west of Macon. Visitation will be at the Jelden-Craig Funeral Home in Hildreth on Sunday from 3-5 and 7-8 p.m.
