REINERT,
Ellen Martha
(Maiden Name: Bowland)
Ellen Martha Bowland, daughter of John and Kathryn Bowland, was born near South Bend, Indiana, September 30, 1865, and passes from this life at her home north of Johnstown, July 26, 1939, having reached the age of 73 years, 9 months and 26 days.
While still a child she came with her parents to Nebraska and settled at Tekamah, where she grew to womanhood.
On March 10, 1884, she was united in marriage with Charles W. Reinert. To this happy union were born three sons, Guy B. of Craig, Nebr.; Roy P., at home, and Arthur C, who preceded her in death on December 15, 1923.
In 1886 she moved with her husband and children to Blaine County, where the family resided for a short time when they returned to Tekamah. In 1919 they moved to a farm north of Ainsworth, and in 1928 they settled on the present farm home where they have resided and Mr. Reinert passed away on August 28, 1929.
The passing of this devoted mother is deeply mourned by her sons, ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a host of appreciative friends.
"True heart and wise, that with Love's key"
Didst open all life's mystery
And buy life's treasure at the price
of Love's perpetual sacrifice,
This was our precious Mother.
