MCINTYRE, EUGENE

McIntyre, Eugene Feb 23, 1935 - Nov 22, 2012 Age 77 years, of Omaha. Passed away peacefully November 22, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. Preceded in death by parents, John and Ruth McIntyre; son, Steven John; grandson, Keith Hunter; and brothers, Jack and Donald. Survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Dorothy Mae (Foglesong) McIntyre; daughter, Sharon Hunter and husband David, Decatur IL; son, Mike McIntyre and wife Lori (Mickells), Omaha; grandchildren, Bryan, Derek, and Dustin Hunter, and Alex, Kevin and Katelyn McIntyre; sisters, Patti Reskin and husband Marshall, Sarasota, FL, and Margie Schab and husband Mike, Omaha; sister-in-law, Darlene Julis, Shawnee, KS; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. Gene was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was thankful for his many dear friends, and all who touched his life during his professional career. He was a faithful follower of the Hour of Power Ministries. He was the retired president of Ray Martin Co. Mechanical Contractors. The family of Gene would like to thank the doctors, nurses and healthcare providers of Nebraska Cancer Specialists, and Methodist Health System for their outstanding care and compassion. VISITATION Monday 5-8pm, with a Masonic Service at 7pm, all at Braman Mortuary (Southwest Chapel). CELEBRATION of Life Tuesday 11am at the Mortuary.
