Mary E. (Mirras) Boosalis, of Grand Island, NE and Omaha, NE, passed away
in Omaha. Mary was born in Huron, SD. She married George Boosalis on
September 5, 1948, and together they owned the Big Boo Cafe, a favorite
meeting place for the downtown business community in Grand Island for
many years. She is survived by her daughter, Patra Boosalis, Phoenix, AZ;
son, Deeno Boosalis; daughter-in-law, Pam Boosalis; grandsons, Alex
Boosalis and Nick Boosalis, all of Omaha; as well many loving nieces,
nephews, cousins, and friends.
MEMORIAL SERVICES will be held on a later date at St. Stephen's Episcopal
Church, 422 W. 2nd St. in Grand Island, NE. The family suggests memorials
