OLSON, Theodore J.


Theodore “Ted” J. Olson, 66, of Seward, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012 in Seward. Services will be Monday, Oct. 29, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Norfolk. A rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. at the church. Burial with full military honors will be in Pleasant View Cemetery at Winside. Visitation with family present will be Sunday, Oct. 28 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Volzke Funeral Home in Seward. Theodore “Ted” J. Olson, was born April 21, 1946 in Norfolk to Charles and Mary Ann (Obert) Olson. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Air Force. On March 30, 1986 he married Lynne Wylie on in Winside. He was a life member of American Legion Post 252, Past member of Winside Volunteer Fire Department, North American Hunting Club, NRA, Disabled American Veterans and Seward Izaak Walton League. Survivors include his wife, Lynne of Seward; sons, Chris and Kim Olson of Lincoln amd Jason Wylie of Winside; daughter, Cher Juracek of Norfolk; mother-in-law, Bonnie Wylie of Winside; brothers, Tom and Marilyn Olson of Omaha and Tally and Mary Olson of Arizona City, Ariz.; four grandchildren; countless number of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Tony, Tim and Terry Olson; father-in-law, G. Bruce Wylie and a nephew, Todd Olson. Volzke Funeral Home in Seward, is in charge of arrangements.
