Three Shots Kills Mrs. Wm. Whetstone

We stop the press to make mention of the death of Mrs. Wm. Whetstone by shooting about 8:15 this (Wednesday) evening.

The Whetstones have a divorce action pending at the coming term of District Court and as near as we have been able to determine, Wm. Whetstone shot his wife three times as she sat in a car in front of Ernest Heth’s residence..

Deputy Coleman is in the country looking for Mr. Whetstone.  The body having been brought to the Fischer undertaking parlors.

Since moving to town Mr. and Mrs. Whetstone have made their home with Ernest Heth.
