OVERMAN, Julia Ann

The obituary from 1943: Mrs. Julia Overman, 67, of Winside, died at her home Friday afternoon following an illness of several years. Funeral services will be held at the home Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Mrs. C. T. Dillon in charge of the services. Born in Illinois on Nov. 4, 1876, Mrs. Overman moved to Winside with her husband in 1916 where she has resided since. Her husband preceded her in death dying in 1923. Also, one brother, Fred Williamson, died a month preceding her death. Surviving are seven sons and daughters, Mrs. Lee Morris of Gering, Mrs. Kent Jackson and Mrs. Alta Huebner of Winside; Mrs. R. S. Mellick of Norfolk, John Overman of Winside; LeRoy Overman and Mrs. Fred Shank of Mitchell; one sister, Mrs. Cora Jones of Harrold, S. D.; two brothers, Bert Williamson of Harrold, S. D., and Harry Williamson, Omaha, and seven grandchildren.
