Birth: 1916 Death: Jan. 2, 2014 Lincoln Lancaster County Nebraska, USA Wilma Geneva Wenke, age 98, died Jan. 2, 2014, of Pender, NE, died peacefully in Lincoln, NE. She is survived by her son, Bill (Maureen) Wenke of Pender; daughter, Janice Roberts of Lincoln; son, Paul (Hope) Wenke of Westcliffe, Colorado; 5 grandchildren: Cara Roberts Clarke, Brad Wenke, Andrea Wenke Kathol, Chris Hansen, and Nicole Wenke Given; 3 great-grandchildren; and sister, Donna Belle Kniefl of Broomfield, Colorado. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at United Church of Pender, Monday, Jan. 6, 2014, 1 p.m. with Pastor Steven Breazier officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Rosehill Cemetery in Pender, NE. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the United Church of Pender.
