Linda Gamble age 65 of Wayne Sunday, June 9th, 2013 Funeral services for Linda Gamble age 65 of Wayne will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Wayne on Monday at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will be held at Hasemann Funeral Home in Wayne on Sunday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. with family present. Private interment will be at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wayne. She died Monday at Providence Medical Center in Wayne. Memorials may be directed to the family for Linda’s special interests. She graduated from Wayne High School in 1965. Linda married Larry Gamble September 9, 1967, at the First Presbyterian Church in Wayne. The couple farmed until moving into Wayne in 1974. Linda was a Handi Van Driver for the City of Wayne. She was employed as a cook at Chartwell’s Food Service for several years at Wayne State College, retiring in March of 2012. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Am Vets Post #22 Auxiliary, and a Charter Member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary #3757, Wayne County Fair Ag Hall Superintendent Of Open Class Economics, and was an “avid” sports fan. Linda’s special loves were her grandchildren. Linda is survived by significant other, Bill Woehler; her children, Robbie (Tanya) Gamble of Wayne, Brian “Spanky” (Amber) Gamble of Wayne, Brent Gamble of Omaha, and Traci Gamble of Wayne; seventeen grandchildren, brothers-in-law, and sister-in-law, Lynn (Jan) Gamble of Wayne and Keith Gamble of Wayne; nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Larry in 1995; two brothers, Bill in 1991, Jim in 2005; sisters-in-law, Mary Gamble in 2009, Sharon Corbit in 2011; and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Albert and Mildred Gamble.
