Miss Anna Maria Matzke was born in Drelitz, Pommern, Germany March 2, 1820, and was married to Christian Timm in 1842. They soon came to America and settled on a farm where the town of Western is located. Mrs. Timm died on Monday February 11, 1907, aged 86 years, 11 months and 9 days. Seven children were born to them, five if whom survive: Mrs. Wm Laufmann, Mrs. C. F. Fritz, Charles, Christian and Wm. Timm. Two brother, forty grand children and thirty-two great grand children mourn her demise. Her husband died 47 years ago. The funeral was on Wednesday from the home and interment in South Fork cemetery.
