| Obituary of Silas Howard from the Creighton (Nebraska) Liberal, 26 Jan 1906: "We are informed that Silas Howard a former resident of the southeastern part of this county, but lately living at Savage, died at his home last week and was buried Monday Last. Mr. Howard was an old soldier and had lived to a ripe old age. He leaves a large family of children and grandchildren to mourn their loss." |
