| Funeral services were held Monday, December 21 (1981) at Ephrata, WA for Leo Luhr, 48, who died unexpectedly at his home Wednesday, December 16 of a heart attack. Luhr had just returned to his home in Washington on Saturday after attending the memorial service for his father, Hugo Luhr, last week in Wakefield. He was born March 11, 1933 to Hugo and Ida Luhr, attended Oakdale Country School and graduated from Allen High School. He married Jeanine Fletcher at South Sioux City, February 9, 1956. He is survived by his widow; four children, Ken, who is married, Michael who is graduated, Rae Ann, a junior in high school and Douglas, 11 years of age; four brothers, Clarence of Wakefield, Virgil of Wayne, Earl of Sioux City and Raymond of Centralia, WA; two sisters, Pauline Seibold of Sioux City and his twin sister, Lucile of Blair, NE and two grandchildren. |
